Weddings are looking a lot different now so here’s what we’re doing to keep you safe.

What to expect from your artist

All tools and equipment will be sanitized and disinfected between each client. This includes the working area. Artists will be washing their hands between each and sanitizing between each client. For makeup services, clean makeup brushes will be used for each new client and disposables wherever possible. For hair services, clean tools, combs and brushes will be used. All Beauty Haus Collective artists will wear approved PPE such as masks or face shields and gloves (if needed). We acknowledge that all services within this industry may carry some risk and it may not always be possible to keep a safe distance. We are confident that our team of artists have been trained to mitigate these risks by use of proper infection control standards.

  1. A health and liability waiver is required for each client booked for a service. A link will be sent to you ahead of time for your convenience.

  2. Prior to each service, we ask clients to please wash their hands with soap and water. We will also have sanitizer readily available.

  3. Temperature may be checked by the artist should they feel more comfortable to do so.

  4. Adequate table space and a chair should be provided per artist. The work area ideally should be in a well ventilated area with natural lighting and adequate space for us to move around freely. Ideally a table space area of 2’ by 4’ is required for each artist.

  5. Each client should be ready to start at least 15-20 minutes before their scheduled session.

  6. Clients who are not receiving makeup should wear a mask (ie. during a hair service session). If you have already had your makeup done, we don’t require you to wear a mask but we ask that you remain 6 feet away from the working stations.

  7. Only the client receiving services shall be in the ‘getting ready area’.

  8. No personal belongings, food or drinks are allowed in the working area.

  9. Please arrive with a clean and moisturized face for makeup applications.

  10. Please arrive with clean and dry hair for hair styling. We WILL NOT be using blow dryers at this time.

  11. Please inform all photographers, videographers and wedding planners to remain a safe six (6) feet distance from the working area.

  12. If client(s) and the wedding party do not adhere to these protocols, we have the right to refuse service.

These protocols are subject to change and we will keep you informed and updated every step of the way. We understand that this is a lot of information to take in but if we work together we can reduce our chances of getting infected and help stop the spread.
